PUSH PROCESSING

Definition: Increasing the development time of a film to increase its effective speed (raising the ISO number for initial exposure ) for low-light situations; forced development

Definition: Extending development time, usually to compensate for underexposure caused by a film being upgraded to permit a faster shutter than the light allows.
